Day 10

Today slept very well and after breakfast and wake-up coffee we needed to go to The Heague (Den Haag) for showing my passport and telephone number for approving Valerie's passport. Wheather in the morning cold and rainy but afternoon sunny and 15 degrees! Needed to wait for more than 1 hour for making 1 copy, as people applying for visa / passports etc from all over the world, pffft. Still not hear anything, hopefully we can pick up in 2 days time.
As we were in Den Haag, we decided to go to Duinrel (Wassenaar) in combination with the Tikibad (tropical water paradise).
Duinrel was oke (accept the minigolf fun!) , more for children untill 5 years, but the water paradise was great! Dangerous actions, too much for ma as an old man, but oke. Together with Valerie we have done the most crazy things there, I was more scared then her! Eat some french fries (patat) and hamburger and after 3 hours watering it was enough. Heading home to Jacob and saw Ajax win the Champions League game, so a very good day ;-)

Day 9

Nice sleeping today and of course good breakfast and coffee's. Cleaning house, washing and then up to Amsterdam for picking up my passport with visum. All successfull, able to stay in Thailand 15 months more. In the meantime I can change from Non Immigrant O to Retirement visum when I turn 50! Meaning no trips to Holland 1 x 15 months and not going out of Thailand 1 x 3 months (visa run). The ONLY good thing when turning 50 ;-)
After Thai Ambassy walking in P.C. Hooftstraat, where they filmed the celebreties from Holland. Walking in the famous Vondelpark, relaxing! A quick stop at the Ajax stadium for some pictures. Then shopping in Oriental, the famous South East shopping centre in Amsterdam. Bought some nice shrimps, crab and more specific Thai food for Pam (and me haha). Then walking and talking to mama of course, she feels so good when we are there, and we too! Now waiting for Jacob and Pam (Thai) cooking!

Day 8

Sunday. 14-15 degrees. Sun. What to do => Volendam and the famous photo of course. Jacob joined us and first we went to Lage Vuursche to walk with my mother in the nice woods and forest surroundings. Mama enjoyed very much. Sometimes a cigarette for her, good fun!
In the evening Pam cooked Thai again, green curry Pad and Mai Pad (heet en niet heet)
Haha Pam never ever walked this far in her life in Volendam, so tired. But that was no surprise for with Thai after previous experiences...
First week already gone!

Day 7

After sleeping untill almost 12.00 (...) nice breakfast and talking to Marco and family. Then time to recover again at the Scheveningen beach with Haring and Kibbeling. So "lekker" !! Went to visit my mother again, she's doing good! hard drive to Jacobs house, we we had to look Ajax - AZ on live football television. 2 hours later it was a disappointing 2-2, but oke. Tried to look for the Dutch team for the finals baseball in Panama against Cuba, but toooo late This morning I saw we won! Great!!!
