Day 2

After first busy day some beers and talking to Jacob. The girls early to bed, exhousted of course. For me 23.00 was the time to go asleep.
Reasonable sleep, wake up at 09.30 and nice and quiet breakfast. In the afternoon driving through the middle of Holland ('t Gooi), visiting my old hometown Naarden, see my old houses, visit Laren and Blaricum (most richest towns of Holland, funny to see the newest cars ;-) Muiderslot and more. Eat our first haring (Pam likes!) in Bussum, did our shopping in Albert Heijn and Liddle. Visit my mother in Lage Vuursche again (they were bowling, nice to see!) then heading home for some snacks (white chocolate, speculaas, french cheese) and drink. Go to bed (the ladies first) at 22.30 oclock.

Day 1 - Pam, Valerie and Wouter in Holland Oktober 2011

We will go to Holland the 9th of October with China Airlines for 2 weeks. Main purpose in visiting my mother and friends, and getting a new visum for myself and a passport (Dutch) for Valerie. Furthermore we have a nice "schedule" for doing nice things.
I will update this item with nice stories and photos. Look forward to it!!!
Yesterday landed at Schiphol Amsterdam after nice flight and good food with 1 hour delay. Jacob picked us up, go rent a car (brand new Opel Corsa, 20 km driven) and put our bags at Jacobs Place. Good to see him again! Then go to my mother at St Elizabeth at the Lage Vuursche. Tears, smiles and after walking and talking went to very good Restaurant Bosrand. Pancakes, spare-ribs and (Thai) mussel, great!
