Day 12

This day full of shopping activities for friends and ourselves. Books, food, drop, port, erwtensoep, (french) cheese and more. Went to several shopping malls in Utrecht to check out. After visiting my mother, still only a few days before going back to Thailand. Feel already sad, like every time I need to go, but again, my mother seems strong! And we went for a nice walk and talk! Evening for Thai cooking and football on tv hehe.

Day 11

I did my pre-packing already for Thailand. All the things we dont use and we things we already buy put in our suitcases. We can take up to 60 kgs, so it will be tricky as I also take 1 big box of old photo albums...Lot of hand luggage haha.
Afternoon we visited my mother again, and I must say she is doing very well. Walking better, talking better, eating good and most important, she still smokes like h*ll. Meaning everything is oke ;-)
Heading to Hilversum for selling gold for a friend in Thailand and bought some nice fresh fruit on the market.
Going to the Kringloopwinkel (second hand store) for buying some things for friend in Thailand. Such a nice store these days. Before only foreign (Turkish / Marokkan) people came there, now most of them Dutch with big cars. Crises ???
Visited my sister Carla in Almere for talking and eating. Valerie very happy and making some nice drawings for her. Broke her foot, so everuthing slowly and Pam and I went out for Suriname Food closeby. Chinese Thai owners, nice talking to them and wonderful food (e.g. Roti).
Already late and 22.00 home and talked to Jacob for a few hours.

Day 10

Today slept very well and after breakfast and wake-up coffee we needed to go to The Heague (Den Haag) for showing my passport and telephone number for approving Valerie's passport. Wheather in the morning cold and rainy but afternoon sunny and 15 degrees! Needed to wait for more than 1 hour for making 1 copy, as people applying for visa / passports etc from all over the world, pffft. Still not hear anything, hopefully we can pick up in 2 days time.
As we were in Den Haag, we decided to go to Duinrel (Wassenaar) in combination with the Tikibad (tropical water paradise).
Duinrel was oke (accept the minigolf fun!) , more for children untill 5 years, but the water paradise was great! Dangerous actions, too much for ma as an old man, but oke. Together with Valerie we have done the most crazy things there, I was more scared then her! Eat some french fries (patat) and hamburger and after 3 hours watering it was enough. Heading home to Jacob and saw Ajax win the Champions League game, so a very good day ;-)
